Today the PC/Opensystems Enterprise development team is pleased to announce the final release of the Linspire 9.0 series, version 9.5. This is a comprehensive release update that will conclude the 9.0 series for the long term. V 9.5 utilizes the XFCE desktop setup to offer a more stable, traditional, intuitive desktop experience to users whose systems may be unable to run Windows 10 effectively / efficiently. For current Linspire users this release offers full security, kernel and graphics drivers updates. Read more here www.linspirelinux.com/2020/11/linspire-95-released.html

I am excited that Linspire 9.5 has been released.
Although a bit disappointed that KDE did not make it past 7.x. I really enjoyed the KDE versions of Linspire.
I understand why the decision was made to ditch KDE but I wonder if 2 versions may have been a better solution for the die hard KDE fans.
I personally think that KDE made it more windows like which would have been better for migration purposes for ex-windows users, but the powers that be make the decisions, not me.
Please let me know your opinions as well, I also think Roberto would also like to know. =)

It looks like all the flair has been stripped away. I really liked the way the previous incarnations looks with the layout/color/background.
