Xandros Enterprise Server, Xandros Docker and Xandros Developer Edition will ship with i3 as the default desktop and the ONLY desktops installed. Users can install GNOME, XFCE, KDE or whichever one they want after the install completes. Xandros Enterprise Linux, Xandros Community Edition and Linspire will continue to ship with GNOME as the default desktop. Linspire 14 coming in December will ship with the proprietary NVIDIA drivers as an option on disk. We have rewritten Ubiquity so that additional drivers will be handled on install rather than after the install finishes. Ubiquity will scan for devices and if an alternate driver is available it will ASK you if you want to use it. The new Ubiquity will ship with Xandros next year when we do our 12 month update. As for our 24.04 plans it depends on Canonical. If Canonical continues its lock down approach we will be looking at Fedora, Debian or basically going on our own as options. More on that later.
