Starting with Linspire 7 SP1, KDE will be an official supported DE. During our experimental phase we shipped a KDE version of Freespire and Linspire. It turned out to be more popular than we thought it would be so starting with SP1, KDE will be a supported option.
We will ship these in two different ISO's. With Freespire you can download directly from the site. With Linspire in your order notes please tell us which desktop you want. If its blank or you dont specify XFCE will be shipped. This will affect the general desktop release. KDE will not ship or be made an option for:
Linspire CE
Linspire Nano
Those two will remain XFCE only.
