After 2 days, the most popular requested desktop for Linspire 8 has been the KDE release. Mate has been a success as well.

MATE is an exceptional DM. But I have been using KDE for many many years and I just can't find any other DM that meets my expectations the way that KDE does. I did, however, enjoy and use Unity for about 2 years.  |
